About Nia Hicks

Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Nia Hicks'  impeccable eye and unfailing devotion to the perfect balance of intrinsic beauty and the power of Makeup has garnered the attention of the beauty, fashion, and television world. Her reputation for flawless skin, with attention to individual style, and her love for voluminous locks has made this talented artist a one stop shop. 

Born in Portland Oregon, and moving to Los Angeles at the young age of 17, Nia attended the prestigious Gower Makeup Academy graduating with honors in Special FX and Beauty Makeup. She began her career in 2007 working in Television at G4-TV assisting as a hair stylist. She was then promoted by star request to be the Makeup and Hair stylist of a new show on E! TV. With no surprise, shortly after crossing over to E! TV, Nia's positive and hard working attitude with her attention to detail was quickly noticed and sought out by leading Hosts at E! for personal appearances & Red Carpets events. This naturally led her to working outside of the company with Photographers like Neave Bizorgi and Jorden Keith for clothing lines such as Young & Reckless, Cotton Citizen, & James Jeans.

High profile clients like, Bill Rancic to Snoop Dogg to Jason Derulo to Meagan Good, this ever growing list has led to Nia's work to  be featured on  Commercials, Music video, Billboards, Bus Benches & Magazine covers. Nia's expertise was featured in Attract Magazine twice for her "Fall beauty must Haves", and her"'Going Nude for fall" articles. Her work will also be featured in a beauty campaign launching in early 2015. 

From Sydney Leroux, Hope Solo, Chris Hardwick, Jessimae Pelusso, Johnathan McReynolds, Tara Lipinski, know they can turn to Nia to create their signature looks for music Videos, Photos shoot's and live events. Nia's Knowledge of makeup and hair with her effervesent energy and work ethic is irreplaceble when creating looks for todays leading artist.
